Fine, I'll write something new! Jeez, some people! :D
I've been somewhat distracted by real world goings on the last few weeks what with being Scottish and all (we had a wee vote going on, don't know if anyone noticed), so I've been alarmingly serious and dull as a result. So much so that I've joined a political party for the first time in my life (the Scottish Greens). So yeah, that's that. In Popo news, Mason is up the duff, so the new Popo Messiah will be amongst us soon. I shall expect a lineup of minions to greet the birth of The Magnificent One in appropriate fashion, with extravagant gifts, pledges of undying devotion, the usual. Get on it, people. Avant continue fame building, and are turning in some decent show results these days. Banj is going club-buying crazy, which means I get to spend ages on my cack-handed photoshopping skillz making new locale pictures. Jeremy is mainly doing sporty stuff, and Algy is taking his life in his hands by getting engaged to Irish. I'm sure it will work out just fine for them! So, there you have it. A post. Happy now?

It's not the blow-by-blow account of the independence campaign, complete with analysis of the SNP's future role in devo-max Scotland and an aside on how devolution of the nations might affect socialism in England, but I am sated.

I like your alternate universe where the Tories and Labour keep their promise and Devo Max actually happens. Might go live there.

I think it will happen under the Tories because it will be a half decent excuse for similar levels of English devolution, which could effectively see them in power in England in perpetuity, even if Labour had a majority overall.

Ooo, that was all a bit serious. I should say something flippant. :P Leave a Reply. |
