Ever had one of those days where people everywhere keep saying dumb shit, and you get frustrated, and there's no wall to bang your head against, which is just as well cos there's already a weird unexplained lump there, and you want to scream and scream but it's alarm the neighbours so instead you just get tight and tense, and my non-existent kingdom for a punching bag, argh argh ARGH????
Okay, maybe got a bit overly specific there for it to be a shared thing (if not, you should get that lump checked out), but you get the general drift. I'm currently procrastinating to avoid editing (nobody tell Roxie), so I figured an update here would be good. Haven't done one in a while. Life stuff: EVER SO BUSY. Especially this week, but generally speaking more going on, which takes up more time, which means less of it in Popoland. It's mainly stuff of a generally positive ilk: going slightly outside my comfort zone, being Little Miss Progress. How's that for vague? To be (only slightly) more specific, I'm beginning to take the first steps to making negative stuff have some actual use in the world. We'll see, in the much longer term, where it leads me. Meanwhile, over in Popo - things I am behind with: All The Things. Had a bit of a break from the PFL spreadsheet updates in the interests of my own sanity. If any kind soul out there is feeling a need to get involved more in stuff, that would be a good place to volunteer. As usual though, nobody bloody will, and I'll be stuck ploughing on with everything (negativity or realism? Often they're depressingly alike) Whine whine, poor little me, everything sucks :D I do kinda need to build short breaks into things to avoid overload though. Realistically speaking, I've really got too much on my Popo plate of late. It's just that the bits that I'd gladly ditch, it's 99% certain nobody else would pick up the slack. And I have this dumb sense of obligation that I have to keep things going, even if it's not doing me any good. This is turning into quite the little pity party, isn't it? Bring out the party poppers and paper hats. I did draw the line at one thing though: The Insider is down two PFL reporters this season, and I was contemplating trying to chuck stuff together to fill that gap. But no. I came to my senses, and ditched the idea. If, by any chance, anyone reading this feels like giving it a go, feel free to drop me a line in-game, but if it ends up not happening this season, then so be it. And that's your lot for now. A thrilling, cheerful update. Le sigh.
