well, don't ignore this - lose the home page, the blog'd work better without one

Not really got into Dr Who since the relaunch. Dunno why. They have a good writing team, and I have enjoyed the episodes I've seen, but, yknow...

You really want the Whovian/Sherlock intersection for the full insanity :)

You should give Torchwood a try. Less sappy and definitely more depressing. But still good.

Hush your mouth! Second-best Doctor since Troughton (Tom Baker just edging it). Slightly let down by shitty storyboarding from Messrs Moffat and co, but that's not his fault.

I like Tennant, followed by Eccleston. I think Moffat had some good stories here and there, but with the whole River Song / Amy Pond fiasco... barf. Moffat ruined Dr. Who for me.

Moffat was my favourite episode writer (along with Paul Cornell) before he took over, but it's all gone to pot a bit since. I think the main problem with the whole River Song thing was feeling a need to explain it all, and way too quickly. Plus making it all boil down to women as mothers/wives/romantic twits thing. Take two interesting characters and reduce them to facile tropes.

lol... a part of me liked the Doctor/Rose thing (the beach scene in particular http://cdn.slowrobot.com/722013003279.gif ), on the other hand, I was pretty disappointed they felt the need to pair them up romantically. I think it would have been better if only his part human clone had fallen in love with Rose and not the original Doctor as well.

Yeah, sad she'll never know what kind of a person she became during her time as a companion... buuuut, I haven't really watched (consistently) since DT left, so I don't know what's been going on since then.
